We wanted a versatile “bread” style base for and with a little experimentation, we found a solution which is quick and easy to make.
If cooked very thin like a crepe, can be used for a wrap, our normal thickness as a pizza base, garlic focaccia, toastie, or Hawawski (recipes coming soon)

Ingredients
- 8 x Large Eggs (pasture grazed if possible)
- 4 tbsp grated Parmesan Cheese
- 4 tbsp Psyllium Husks (finely ground if possible)
- 2 tsp Mixed Herbs (optional)
- 4 tsp Ghee
Instructions
- Place all ingredients, excluding ghee, in a bowl and mix well. (we use an immersion mixer)
- Heat 1 tsp of ghee in 26cm frypan
- When hot, spoon ¼ of the mixture into the pan, rolling to ensure even spread to edges of pan
- Cook on medium heat till underside is lightly browned then turn and cook for another 30 seconds
- Place onto cooling rack
- Mixture will make 4 base breads, and can be frozen if needed
